Congratulations on your successes this year!

I love this idea! All too often we don't take a second to reflect on and celebrate all we've accomplished. I was listening to a podcast where they asked what your goal was at the beginning of last year--mine was to get an agent. Now I have an agent and a book on sub but it's hard not to despair when it's not picked up instantly! So thank you for the reminder to celebrate that getting the agent/going on sub is a huge win!

Yes congratulations!!! I know its so easy to despair when our work doesn't sell. Its like we put so many hours in the writing and hope and when its not picked up, dooooom. Making this list really helped me see this year as not a failure

I love the idea of looking at the writing successes of the year. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much progress we make (you have SO MANY words, so many!) if there isn’t as much outside validation in a year.

Yes thank you Melissa!! Seeing the word count go higher is keeping me going . Just trying not to get discourageda

I love the idea of listing 12 wins instead of resolutions! Such a great practice. And thanks for including a link to my essay. 💛

Reem, I’m so happy for you that you had a successful writing year! I’ve finally gotten back to writing after more than a year fallow. But you are impressive. Keep going! And I already reviewed your lovely book.

Thank you Joanne! You are the best and your words worth the wait! I didn't really see this year as a success, since I have no new books on the horizon, but sitting down and making this list forced me to see that I actually did do work and am doing my best :)
